- The purpose of this amendment is to further clarify the requirements of the original synopsis, as follows: 1) The delivery date is changed from 90 days after receipt of order to delivery date is no later than April 15, 2011.2) Mounting requirements - None, Scotts Bluff National Monument will take responsibility to mount on the ground.3) This solicitation is amended to add optional product composition. The section purpose shall read as follows:PURPOSE: The purpose of this contract is to replicate 6 life-size fiberglass oxen statues for use with the monument's emigrant wagons. The life-size replica oxen are going to be placed strategically in a position of appearing to be pulling replica wagons at Scotts Bluff National Monument. The oxen statues will be made of fiberglass or equal man-made products (urethane foam) that represents a likeness to the actual animals used during the migration along the Oregon Trail in the middle to late 1800's.4) Animals are going to be placed outdoors and must be produced from products that will be weather tolerant, heat or freezing, snow, rain, or sunshine.
