Description
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award three (3) sole source contracts under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Air Armament Center (AAC) intends to award three separate contracts with values not to exceed $2,000,000.00 each to the following companies based upon information received from previous special notice Request for Information (RFI) announcements and multiple government sponsored "Industry Day" meetings. The contractual efforts will be to define multiple common system interfaces between modified weapon tailkits, existing aircraft and existing munition systems at the All Up Round (AUR) level. This contractual effort will be performed in accordance with a classified Statement of Work/Objectives (SOW/O). 1. Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Control, Orlando FL 2. Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson AZ 3. The Boeing Company, St Louis MO The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only the three sources identified above under authority of FAR 6.302. If a company other than the three listed above believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify interest and capability to the Contract Officer within ten (10) calendar days of this publication. Those companies indicating capability must provide a statement of capabilities and indicate whether they are a large, small or disadvantaged business and/or whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. Additionally, strict security requirements are applicable to this effort. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government intends to make awards by November 2010.
