- This solicitation notice is for grounds maintenance; multiple locations-Chambersburg, Gettysburg, and Greencastle, PA. The award will be a firm fixed price contract with a base period and one 12-month option period and is subject to availability of funds. The target start date is 01 September 10. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services, and materials, except as specified as Government-furnished, for the preparation of personal property of military members and civilian employees for Direct Procurement Method movement, and related services, of household goods. Specific tasks will include mowing. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Emerging Small Businesses. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561730, size standard of $7 Million. Prospective Contractors must be a Small Business, as verified on Central Contractor Register (CCR) and Online Representations & Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation was posted on or about 19 August 2010 via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The due date will be stated in the solicitation. (The response date listed on ASFI is not the due date.) The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Internet site, www.ccr.gov, under the appropriate small business category and NAICS.
