- This Stewardship project consists of removal of an estimated 2,876 tons of sawtimber marked or otherwise designated for cutting on 93 acres. Mandatory stewardship items are road maintenance work, whole tree yarding of sawtimber, and small tree (non-sawtimber) treatment (example: mastication, piling, chipping, removal) on 788 acres. Project is located on the Klamath National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. A preproposal conference will be held, date and time to be provided in the solicitation. Period of performance will be two years after contract award. Solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about July 26, 2010. **The purpose of this notice is to postpone the closing date. A solicitation amendment will be issued incorporating some clarifying information and extending the due date. I estimate this amendment will be issued by Friday, 27 Aug 2010.
