Description
US Department of Labor Wage Determination WD 2005-2103, Revision 10, for Prince George’s County, Maryland, where the work will be performed Apply to this Service. If bid package does not contain completion of CCR and ORCA Registrations, quote may be considered incomplete for evaluation purposes and no further consideration will be given to the offerors quote, thereby making an offer ineligible for award. Offeror is responsible for correct input and acceptance of info for on-line registration at time of bid submission. ***PLEASE RETURN SF1449 AND COMPLETED CHECKLIST ON ATTACHMENT 1 ONLY *** STATEMENT OF WORK SF1449 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used per FAR 12. For commercial item/services acquisitions in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation and award prescribed in Part 13, Simplified acquisition procedures, A firm Fixed Price Contract will be awarded for a base period of 1 year and 4 option periods. All pricing to include any and all costs but not limited to: overhead, general and administrative costs, profit, licensing/certification and transportation. DESCRIPTION Inspections for emergency generator system. (Kohler 750ROZD) Two (2) Kohler 750ROZD Generators serial numbers 387145 and 612282, IPS paralleling switch gear and sixteen (16) Kohler transfer switches. The United States Department of Agriculture facility in Beltsville, MD needs four (4) inspections a year, one of which will be a Full Service Visit. The inspections will include both generators, switchgear and transfer switches. The period of performance needed will be for a base period of 1 year and 4 option periods All pricing to include any and all costs but not limited to: overhead, general and administrative costs, profit, and transportation. All inspections to be performed during normal working hours, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm non holiday Monday thru Friday. A 24 hour notice will be given before any visit. Any repairs or emergency visits that may be required in addition to the inspections may include regular, overtime, and double time rates and their respective hours and holiday dates. Mileage expenses and minimum service visit cost will also to be included. Contractor shall supply all tools, motor oil, filters i.e. fuel, air, oil and coolant inhibitor. The period of performance of this contract is from October 1,2010 through September 30,2011 and 4 option periods Base Period 10/01/2010 - 09/30/2011 Period 1 10/01/2011 - 09/30/2012 Period 2 10/01/2012- 09/30/2013 Period 3 10/01/2013- 09/30/2014 Period 4 10/01/2014 - 09/30/2015 Place of Performance USDA/APHIS/PPQ-BARC East Building 580 Powder Mill Road Beltsville, MD 20705 SAFETY AND SECURITY All persons employed in the work, while on the premises, shall comply with all building regulations. Contract employees shall wear a USDA issued contractor badge at all times while at the USDA facilities. Contract employees shall display the badge to USDA personnel while at the USDA facilities. Under no circumstances will contract employees abuse the authority of the badge.
