- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to award on a sole-source basis to L-3 Communications Corporation - Telemetry East, 1515 Grundy ™s Lane, Bristol, PA 19007-1506 for three (3) Model ST-3000 Transmitters. L-3 Communications Corporation is the manufacturer of these items and the only certified agent that is able to meet the Government ™s needs of system verification. Any other manufactures ™ product would result in substantial loss in investment to the Government. FOB Destination to Dahlgren, VA shall apply. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized in accordance with FAR Part 13. The North American industry Classification System code is 336419, 1000 employees. The closing date is 25 August 2010. The anticipated award date is 26 August 2010.
