- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure twenty (20) each Dell Alienware Mx15 laptop computers to the following minimal specifications: 1) No larger than 15 inch WideFHD 1920 x 1080 (1080p) WLED Display 2) Intel Core i7 920XM 2.0GHz (3.2GHz Turbo Mode, 8MB Cache) 3) Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate, 64bit, English 4) 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M Graphics Card or better. Please note substitutions must be NVIDIA. 5) 500GB SATAII 7,200RPM Hard Drive or larger drive / faster speed 6) Slot-Loading DVD +- RW Media Drive 7) 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1333MHz “ 2 x 4096MB The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) also intends to procure the following accessories designed for the Dell Alienware Mx15 outlined above: 1) Twenty (20) each 85 WHr 9-Cell Lithium-Ion Batteries 2) Twenty (20) each 150 Watt 3 Prong AC Adapter with 6 ft Power Cord 3) Twenty (20) each Alienware Orion Laptop Backpack Simplified acquisition procedures will be used. This procurement shall be open market awarded all or none based on lowest cost technically acceptable. Only quotations reflecting new items, backed by the manufacturers ™ warranty will be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334111 with a size standard of 1000 employees. The order shall be a firm fixed priced order. FOB Destination shall apply. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, this synopsis and any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/supply. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database.
