- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood the FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia, 22448-5110, plans to procure on a sole source basis from Oracle-Sun. Oracle America, Inc., 1910 Oracle Way, Reston, Virginia 20190-4733 (D & B 620827688) the following items: Item 0001: Qty; 2; P/N X4640-S4-AD; Sun Fire X4640- XATO Base with 4x1133W power supplies also includes DVD-RW drive and tool-less slide rail and cable management arm. Add processor modules, memory, disk, I/O cards. RoHS-5 for XATO and factory integration. Item 0002: Qty; 8; P/N X311L; Localized Power Cord Kit North American/Asian, RoHS-6 compliant. Item 0003: Qty; 8; P/N RB-SS2-CD-146G10K; 146GB 10K RPM 2.5 SAS hard disk drive with Nemo bracket, RoHS-6 compliant. (ATO). Item 0004: QTY; 16; P/N 8487A; X4640 six-core processor board with 1 x 8431 (2.4 GHz Six Core, 75W) /8 DIMM. RoHS-5 (For XATO). Item 0005: Qty; 32; P/N/ 8098A; 8 GB Memory kit DDR2-667 Registered ECC DIMMs (2x4 GB) for Sun Fire X4600 M2 and X4640 and x64 servers. RoHS-6). (For XATO and factory integration). Vendors shall warrant that the products they supply are new equipment. Offers will be accepted either directly from Oracle-Sun, the manufacturer, or any authorized, certified Oracle-Sun resellers. Quotes based upon FOB destination, complete with delivery dates, warranty information and be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR 13). The closing date of 27 August 2010; the anticipated award date is 3 September 2010. THE GOVERNEMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION AS A RESULT OF THIS NOTICE.
