- Description
- Justification and Approval The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials and transportation to perform all construction work necessary to repair the broken water lateral. In normal circumstances, the water valve at the curb would be closed so that the water would be shut off while the project was solicited. In the instant case, it is believed the water valve at the curb may fail if attempt is made to shut it off. Said failure would lead to much greater incidental damage. As such, the repair, including installing a new valve, must be done on an urgent and compelling basis.
