Description
***This requirement is currently UNFUNDED. *** The government does not presently intend to award a contract, but does want to obtain information in the event that funding is obtained. The government may or may not award a contract for some or all of the items in this request. **This sources sought notice is for information and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. ** The 366th Contracting Squadron is seeking a potential source interested in proposing on an acquisition for: Contractor to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, facilities, transportation, and supervision necessary to provide: Digital vehicle recording equipment for evidence gathering. Brand Name or Equal: 1 Each: High Temperature Cabinet Oven for heating metal parts and remove deposits -Maximum operating temperature: 1250F -Work space dimensions: 50" wide x 50" deep x 50" high -160KW installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular heating elements -6,000 CFM, 5 H-P recirculating blower providing horizontal airflow -10" thick insulated walls comprised of 2" of 1,900F block and 8" of 10lb/cf density rockwool -Top mounted heat chamber -Aluminized steel exterior -Type 304, 2B finish stainless steel interior -Safety equipment for handling flammable solvents including explosion venting door hardware -Digital indicating temperature controller -Manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors -Insulated floor reinforced for 1,000 lb loading at ¼" 304 stainless steel plate Installation not required The purpose of this sources sought notice is to identify the availability of qualified sources. The anticipated contract type will be a Firm Fixed Price. Work to be performed under the contract will be within the North American Classification System (NAICS) code as 423440. If you have the capability and are interested in this acquisition, submit a detailed capability statement which, at a minimum, identifies: 1. Point of contact including phone number, physical and e-mail address. 2. Size status and/or SBA certification program of your firm. 3. CAGE Code for your firm. 4. Positive statement of interest to submit a proposal. 5. Cost estimation. ***FYI...366th Contracting Office will most likely be awarding contracts up until midnight on 30 September 10, for Fiscal Year End.
