- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items: 40 ea Family Suites for 2 nights stay, check-in 24 Sept 10, check-out 26 Sept 10; 20 ea Family Suites for 2 nights stay, check-in 01 Oct 10, check-out 03 Oct 10; 20 ea Family Suites for 2 nights stay, check-in 15 Oct 10, check-out 17 Oct 10 ; 20 ea Family Suites for 2 nights stay, check-in 22 Oct 10, check-out 24 Oct 10. All rooms must have 2 full or queen beds with sleeper that sleeps 6 with indoor and/or outdoor pool, whirlpool spa, and eating facilities within resort. A large conference room with visual aids (Projector, large screen with sound system), table and chairs for 100 person capacity with beverage service included (water, coffee, tea), is needed on 25 Sept 10, 02 Oct 10, 16 Oct 10 and 23 Oct 10 3:00-5:00pm respectively. The quote shall include a cost per night and a cost per visit for the conference room, for a total of 8 line items. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F1R35A0215A001. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) IAW FAR 52.204-7. North American Industrial Classification Standard 721110, Size Standard, $7.0M, applies to this procurement. FOB: Destination for delivery to 7 FSS/RA, 417 3rd Street, Suite 220, DYESS AFB, TX 79607. The provisions that apply to this solicitation are as follows: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commerical Items(Jan 1999). The clause at FAR 52-212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4, Contact Terms and Conditions, FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses, cited are applicable to this solicitation: AFFARS 5352.242-9000, Contractor Access to Base and 5352.201-9101, Ombudsman. All quotes must be mailed to latoyer.furbush@dyess.af.mil. Quotes are required to be received no later than 04:00 PM CST, Thursday, 26 August 2010.
