- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport intends to award a Firm Fixed Price order as a 100% Hubzone set-aside for the following items: 2 each Housing, Slip rings;2 each Bulkhead, Slip rings;2 each Shaft, Slip rings;2 each Drive Plates;and 4 ea Retainer Plates, Stators. The items will be developed from various Distribution D drawings. To receive a copy of the drawings, a company must be JCP Certified. The certification site is as follows: http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/. Send an e-mail request for the drawings to Jacob L. Walker at jacob.l.walker@navy.mil. Also, please provide your Fed-Ex number. Otherwise, the drawings will have to be mailed by regular delivery. Your request must include your firm ™s complete street address, cage code, tel number. If this requirement is not filled as a Hubzone requirement then it shall be awarded as a Small Business set-aside. The approximate date of Solicitation is Sept 1, 2010.
