- SFSIAQ10R0045_ Solicitation The NFATC seeks a proposal to replace aging and outdated equipment in the medium/large classrooms on campus. The original design of many of these classrooms included adjacent control rooms for film projection and required a dedicated technician to operate the equipment. Currently, these classrooms have outdated audio/video equipment and interfaces. NFATC seeks to have a single interface for selecting video sources, adjusting program volume levels, and powering on equipment. Several of the rooms included in this proposal also have wireless voice amplification systems due to the size of the classroom, which requires a technology refresh. The overall goal of this project is to decrease the time that an instructor has to spend setting up the audiovisual equipment required for a particular class and also to make it easier for an instructor to operate the equipment in any of the classrooms included in this project.
