- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Systems Analysis Capability forNASA Independent Assessments, Reference No. SACD-1, posted on August 12, 2010.You arenotified that the following changes are made: The second sentence under 'Description' is deleted in its entirety and the following issubstituted in place thereof:An independent systems design and analysis capability is the primary capability beingsought. To clarify, the Contractor shall possess the skills to provide both a completesystem design and a system assessment capability, including vehicle performance, cost,reliability and operability. This capability shall reside solely within the Contractorworkforce at their facility, completely independent of the NASA team, providing a meansby which to independently verify government results (or other contractor results, seeinformation on Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) below) or in a surge capacitywhen NASA personnel are not available. The Contractor shall also possess their own toolsand methods, which may include as a subset NASA developed and released tools; respondentsshould describe the analysis and design tools used for this capability.The due date for responses is extended to August 28, 2010. In addition, the requested page limitation is revised to 10 pages. Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. Thesedocuments will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWWbrowser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/LaRC Business Opportunitieshome page is http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=23 Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation andany amendments.
