- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1), with Pitney Bowes global, P.O.Box 856460, Louisville, KY 40285 for the continued lease for the following: 48 month lease (months 42-48) Lease and Maintenance of Arrival Package Tracking and Delivery Management System(included lease,installation, training, maintenance, software protection, and updates for the period of November 1, 2010 to May, 31, 2011. Inbound Package Receiving Area Arrival Software Label Printer for Courier/unmarked packages PC with Flat Screen Monitor Report Printer 7 Portable Tracking Assistants Cordless Scanner Mail Stations to interface to current DM1000's Ascent Software interfaced to DM1000's for accounting and express processing all-in-one Each station includes: Ascent Mail Management Software Label Printer for Express Labels PC with Flat Screen Monitor Report Printer 100 LB Scale Interfacing to existing DM1000's The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed- price purchase order. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; however, companies that believe they can fulfill the requirement may provide a written response to this notice and provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate that capability. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition.
