- NSN 1015-01-483-8824, PN 12593104, Noun: Rollbar Air Assault. End Use is the M119 Howitzer. Proposed contract is a Hubzone Set-aside. Any award resulting from this solicitation will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract with five ordering periods. The guaranteed quantity is 40 each. The maximum quantity over the life of the contract is 500 each. The Rollbar Air Assault is used on the M119A2 105 MM Howitzer and consists of: Rollbar Tube, P/N 12593142 and Rollbar Deflector, P/N 12593143 both made from Seamless Steel Tubing; Left and Right Gussets, P/N 12593140 & 12593141 both made from Steel Plate. Welding required. FOB is destination. Estimated issue date is 8 September 2010. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
