- Description: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION, GSA FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE 66 - Scientific Equipment and Services The National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD has a requirement for forty two (42) -80 Freezers, ULT2586-10HD. The contractor will be required to furnish all the necessary equipment and standard warranty. The contractor will quote on inside delivery (consisting of delivery to the final destination, uncrating, set in-place and removal of debris) of forty-two (42) -80 freezers to the NIH/NIAID. Specifications for the freezers are as follows: 1) -50 to -86C High Density Ultima Plus Upright Ultra Cold Temperature Freezer; 2) Total capacity (Cu. Ft/Liters): 24.4/691; 3) Exterior Dimensions: 77.6 x 36.8, FB x 41.9, W 1971mm x 935mm x 1064mm; 4) Voltage: d-208/230V, 60Hz 1 Ph, 0. Also includes: 1) 7-Day, Circular Chart Recorder, Factory installed (-100 degree C to 0 degree C temperature range); 2) Temperature Transmitter, 4 to 20mA for freezers (temperature range -100 to 0C); Capability statement must reference similar requirement, similar work that has been performed by the offeror and the dollar value of that work. Potential offerors must indicate business size in their capability statement. Delivery will start 30 days after receipt of award and must be completed within 90 days = (4 months). Contact the laboratory for further delivery instructions. This procurement will be firm-fixed price and will be competed under pre-existing Multiple Award Federal Supply Schedule contracts. A competitive solicitation (RFQ) will be issued via GSA eBuy. This will be funded in whole by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
