- Description: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION, GSA FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE 66 - Scientific Equipment and Services The National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD has a requirement for the following: 1) one (1) -86 Utility Freezer, 17 U.R. DBLDR 220; 2) one (1)1 Inventory rack with Sliding Drawers; and 3) one (1) Inventory rack with sliding drawers. The contractor will be required to furnish all the necessary equipment and standard warranty. The contractor will quote on inside delivery (consisting of delivery to the final destination, uncrating, set in-place and removal of debris) to the NIH, Fort Detrick, Maryland. Specifications for this freezer are as follows: 1) NON-CFC Refrigerants; 2) 17.3 cu ft. capacity Upright with (2) 1 horsepower compressors, 230 Volts; 3) Double door access with four inner doors; 4) New latch and handle for ergonomic handling and one hand operation; 5) Down-feed evaporator, surge tank for extra capacity; 6) Adjustable solid stainless steel shelves; 7) Triple-sealing silicone door gasket; 8) Two 10" tubeaxial fans; 9) Heavy Duty dual wheel swivel locking caster; 10) Automatic voltage compensator that responds to high and low voltages 11) Service valves that allow easy recovery of refrigerants and field servicing; 12) Front to back airflow with removable, cleanable air filter; 13) Hinged grill swings out for easy access to filter and battery; 14) A vacuum relief port; and 15) 4" open x 12" long heavy duty hinge for ensuring positive closure and uninterruptive service. Also, in addition to the above, the certifications include the following: 1) UL Listed; 2) cUL; 3) CE Mark; and 4) Manufactured by an ISO-9001 company. Capability statement must reference similar requirement, similar work that has been performed by the offeror and the dollar value of that work. Potential offerors must indicate business size in their capability statement. Award will be based on: 1) Technical capabilities to meet the required specifications 2) Delivery 3) Installation, 4) Warranty and 5) Price. Warranty information to include period and coverage, shall be stated. Inside delivery shall be 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). Contact the laboratory for further delivery instructions. This procurement will be firm-fixed price and will be competed under pre-existing Multiple Award Federal Supply Schedule contracts. A competitive solicitation (RFQ) will be issued via GSA eBuy. This will be funded in whole by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. 8/23/2010 Amendment 1 This notice has been amended to change the Secondary Point of Contact. All other terms of this notice remain unchanged.
