- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Construct an Urban Assault Course for the Puerto Rico Army National Guard. This work includes the construction of four training stations: 1) Station 1 Individual and Team Trainer; 2) Station 2 Squad and Platoon Trainer; 3) Station 3 Grenadier Gunnery Trainer; and 4) Station 4 Urban Offense/Defense Trainer. Work shall also include the general site work encompassing site grading and the installation of site utilities, roads, and a parking area. Four support area facilities will also be constructed. These support facilities are: 1) Ammo Breakdown Building; 2) Range Operations Control/Storage Building; 3) Enclosed/Covered Bleacher; and 4) Aerated Vault Latrine. Estimated magnitude of this project range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Statement of Work, Drawings and Specifications will be available by 24 August 2010 on electronic format at the Puerto Rico National Guard, Directorate of Engineer, Attn: WO1 Federico Nieves, #100 General Esteves Street, Stop 3 Puerta de Tierra, San Juan, Puerto Rico 00902. Mandatory Pre-Bid/Site Visit Conference will be on the 31-August-2010 at 1300 at Leaders Club, Camp Santiago Training Center. All information will be discussed on the Pre-Bid Meeting. Due dates for all questions will be 15-Sep-2010 at 2:00 PM and Government will send all answers by 17-Sep-2010 at 4:00 PM. The government has determined that pre-bid conference and site visit is mandatory no exemption will be made. Offer due date will be 24-Sep-2010 at 1400 at the USPFO for Puerto Rico, Building 540 Borinqueneer Road, Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico, 00934. Visitor pass is required to enter on all Military Installations.
