- In accordance with the Small Business Administration 8(a) program, and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.8, a sole source direct award was made to Alaskan Tribal certified 8(a) firm Copper River Information Technology, LLC, Anchorage Alaska to provide the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Radiology and Imaging Sciences Department a state of the art Computed Tomography (CT) Scanner and associated turn-key design/build installation within specifications. Tribal 8(a) firms are entitled to unique privileges under applicable federal regulations. Tribal 8(a) firms are entitled to receive sole-source contracts of any value. Tribal firms are not subject to the $3 million limitation on sole-source contracts applicable to other entities. DUNS#-623462087-0004 This project is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and is subject to all required reporting.
