- This solicitation is follow-up to the presolicitation / synopsis posting 14 July 2010 for Bioenvironmental Engineer / Industrial Hygienist service, full-time - requiring access to Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan and various locations. 18 AMDS is seeking detailed occupational health risk assessment at Kadena AB, Japan, with emphasis on BioEnvironmental (BE) Engineering / Industrial Hygiene and special surveillance programs. Contractors shall perform and manage various BE tasks, to include performing occupational health risk assessment surveys, managing equipment operations and maintenance schedule, track upgrade and specific training requirements for BE personnel, and ship water samples to laboratory for analysis. Contractors shall enter all bioenvironmental engineering tasks and survey data in the Defense Occupational and Environmental Readiness System. Attached is the relevant solicitation / Performance Work Statement (PWS). The PWS has detailed information regarding the minimum requirements of the end user.
