- The Augusta Veterans Medical Center (VAMC) Augusta GA is soliciting proposals for a contractor to shall furnish all labor, material, shipping and handling, repair parts, (except those cited within Excluded Parts), equipment (not to include operating supplies), and travel necessary to correct any equipment to operational condition. The contractor shall guarantee that at the conclusion of any emergency maintenance performed that the equipment will meet manufacturer's factory specifications. Services shall be in accordance with the Statement of Work of the contract. The anticipated Period of Performance for these services is 01 October 2010 through 30 September 2011 with 4 option years. This solicitation will result in a firm fixed-price contract. This procurement is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This procurement is unrestrictive. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number is VA247-10-RFP-0280. The applicable NAICS code is 811219 and the small business size standard is $ 7.0 Million. TELEPHONIC REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. When issued, the solicitation will be available only by downloading from the Federal Business Opportunities website at https://www.fbo.gov/. The estimated issue date is on or around 21 August 2010, and the anticipated closing date is 27 August 2010 at 12:00:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. The proposal shall be completed and returned for a price evaluation. The Government reserves the right to reject any or all proposals at any time. Prospective offerors are urged to submit any questions they may have in writing to Iridious T. Ruise at iridious.ruise@va.gov. NLT 24 August 2010. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE Code). Quotes will be accepted by email or fax. Interested parties should submit their company name, mailing address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, and business status to.
