Description
This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition of fleet and transient services. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials and supervision necessary to perform services Aircraft Fleet and Transportation Services at March Air Reserve Base, California. This will be a firm fixed price contract the period of performance is for a 12 month base period and four, 12 month option periods. The successful contractor shall provide fleet services to aircraft permanently or temporarily assigned to the 452 Air Mobility Wing (normally C-17's and KC-135's). Services are performed on the flight line parking ramp. Defleet: Services to be performed include removal of dirty coffee jugs and water igloos soiled flight blankets and pillows and used PAX kits. Also removal of all trash and used meals will be disposed of properly. Fleet: Services provided include the following: clean coffee jugs, clean igloos filled with ice water, clean flight blankets and pillows, replacement PAX kits and expendables. The successful contractor shall provide transient services. This services involves the transporting of aircrew members, Duty PAX and Space A as follows: Aircrew Members: Transprotation of flight crew members and their gear to and from March Air Reserve Base flight line to on-base/off base locations. On base locations include but are not limited to, base armory, billeting, various squadrons, maintenance, motor pool and eating facilities. The successful contractor will be evaluated using Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures. Award will be made to the responsible contractor whose proposal conforming to the solicitation represents the best value to the government, price and other factors considered. This competitive acquisition is a 8(a) set-aside procurement. The applicable NAICS code is 488190 with a size standard of $6M. Anticipated solicitation issue date is 16 Aug 10.
