- Description
- This solicitation is for the construction of a pre-engineered steel building at the James E. "Bud" Smith Plant Materials Center (PMC) outside of Knox City, TX. Bids will be submitted with a base price for a concrete foundation and pre-engineered steel building construction finished completely as identified in the base proposal below. All bid proposals will include optional pricing for finishing the building as identified in the bid proposal sheet. The primary intent of this project is to construct a minimum of 672 square feet of office/work space at the PMC in Knox City, TX. The attached floor plan is for bidding purposes only. Interested contractors shall submit a complete set of plans with the completed bid proposal. Upon acceptance and before proceeding to work the contractor will provide a set of plans that are sealed by a professional engineer, registered in the state of Texas. Particular plans shall be for this specific project and meet all national, state and local requirements and building codes for the type of construction proposed. Period of performance for this project will be from the date of contract award through 31 January 2011.
