- Instructions for Marking and Labeling Supplies for Shipment Funnel Cap Drawing Continuation Page of 10-48079.DWG.01 Stabdard Rain Gauge 8' RFQ for the 8' inch Funnel Cap The U. S. Department of Commerce, NOAA intends to solicit for purchase of 500 each Funnel Cap, Eight (8) Inches in Diameter. This item is being purchased for the National Weather Service (NWS), spare parts program to be delivered to the National Logistics Support Center, Kansas City, MO. The supplies are to be shipped on a FOB Destination basis. The intended procurement is for supplies for which the Government intends to acquire under the guidelines of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The Government will require first article testing under this requirement. The NAICS code for this action is 334519. The NWS special packaging/marking requirement will be applicable. The Eastern Region Acquisition Division-Kansas City requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following website: http://www.ccr.gov/. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUN). A DUN number may be acquired free of charge by contacting Dun & Bradstreet on-line at https://www.dnb.com/product/eupdate/requestOptions.html or by phone at (800) 333-0505. The Request for Quotation (RFQ), drawings, and packaging/marking requirements are attached to this notice. All interested parties are required to sign and date the quotes before submitting to the U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA/ERAD, ATTN: Karen Christian, Room 1756, 601 East 12th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64106. Quotes must be received on or before 12:00 PM CST, August 31, 2010. Quotes may be sent by either email to karen.l.christian@noaa.gov or faxed to 816-274-6952.
