- This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis is as follows. A separate written solicitation M67400-10-T-0198 will be issued as a Request for Quotation on or after 20 Aug 2010. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-44 and DFARS Changes Notice 20100519. DPAS Rating is DO-C9E. The North American Industrial Classification System codes are 334310 and the business size standard is NTE 5.5 million. This procurement constitutes Item 0001. Required Item and Description are as follows. CLIN 0001: CONFERENCE ROOM UPGRADE. The Contractor shall install an Audio Visual System for the conference room located at Bldg 110, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Futenma, Okinawa, Japan in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The installation shall include the purchase of a 103" plasma TV and associated hardware/equipment, the connection of AV cabling and computer interface, the installation of an amplifier and speakers, framing work for the Plasma TV and wall speakers, and the programming and installation of an easy input switch management control system. The Government may make single award to the responsible offer which is the most advantageous to the Government on the basis of best value evaluation process. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. Responsible Offerors must be active in the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 unless you qualify under an exemption. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on submitted proposal. The solicitation (Request for Quotation), when it is released it will be available electronically at the following web sites https://www.neco.navy.mil and/or http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ under solicitation M67400-10-T-0198. The solicitation also will be e-mailed upon a written request to the Point of Contact listed. Offers can be mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to the Contracting Office, U.S. Marine Corps RCO, MCB CAMP S. D.
