- This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB). The purpose of this is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size relative to NAICS 541618. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses are not considered responses to any solicitation announcement. Miami VA Healthcare System, Miami, Fl is seeking responsible sources for a potential contract to provide Best in Class Case Manager training for the organization s cases managers. The vendor will be responsible for providing all personnel and resources as required to accomplish the following tasks: three two day 8-hour on site program titled Best in Class Case Management: Your Gateway to Certification and Leading Edge Practice , a copy of the Case Manager s Handbook, Fourth Edition; A copy of the Best in Class Case Management Workbook; and 14 continuing education units through American Nurses Credentialing Center (AANC) for Registered Nurses and Social Workers through Commission of Case Manger Certification (CCMC). The training sessions shall include classroom instruction and clinical experience. All interested firms shall provide the following information: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, capability statement, and business size pursuant to the following status: (1) certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, (2) certified Veteran Owned Small Business. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to william.leon@va.gov, Contracting Officer, Miami Healthcare System, Miami, FL 33125. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses shall be received in writing no later than 3:00 p.m. EDT August 26, 2010. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
