- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE : This is NOT a request for proposal. The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick AFB, FL announces the anticipated release of the solicitation for IDIQ roofing contract. Provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to provide roofing services & roofing related services on facilities at Patrick AFB and Cape Canaveral AFS, FL to include repair, maintenance, removal, & replacement of roofing, flashing, roofing accessories, and all roof or building mounted accessories for code compliant usable roof system in accordance with contract, drawings and specifications. Performance period is one base year and four one-year option years. In addition, the government may further extend the performance period for up to six months under FAR 52.217-8. Solicitation issue date of 7 Sep 10 and proposal closing date of 4 Oct 10 are tentative. The applicable NAICS Code and size standard for this acquisition are 238160/$14M. The minimum value is $250K and maximum value is $8M. The magnitude of this contract is between $5M and $10M. The solicitation is unrestricted pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstrative Program IAW FAR 19.1007 (b) (1). Contract award will be based on a best value analysis using performance-price, trade-off (PPT) procedures. Interested parties should register on-line and subscribe to receiving procurement announcements related to this solicitation by entering the website at www.fbo.gov. There will be no paper copies of this solicitation. All solicitation information may be obtained through the above referenced website. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROJECT. NO AWARD WILL BE MADE UNTIL FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO MAKE PAYMENTS UNDER A CONTRACT. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS SOLICITATION, EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER RFP CLOSING, WITH NO OBLIGATION TO THE OFFEROR BY THE GOVERNMENT.
