- NOTICE TEXT: DLA Aviation- Defense Supply Center Richmond - BSM. This synopsis is for NSN: 6150-01-529-7900, Cable Assembly, Power, Electrical in accordance with part number FS60P5W-25. The acquisition is authorized by PR 002746743 under NSN 6150-01-529-7900. No commercial item determination is needed as this item is not commercial per SAP on 18 August 2010. Solicitation will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price procurement. Unrestricted procedures are utilized under the guidelines of Other than Full and Open Competition in accordance with (10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1). Surge & Sustainment requirements do not apply for this requirement per IBMS Website inquiry on 18 August 2010. Cost and pricing data is not required as procurement due to the dollar value. Progress payments will not be included. This is being solicited with FOB at Destination. The Inspection and Acceptance is at Destination. ABVS applies. Quantity Variance is plus or minus 0%. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The required delivery is 42 days ARO. Based upon market research, the Goverment is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisitiom of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the conracting officer their interest and capability to satify the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The solicitation issue date is 31 August 2010. The closing date is 30 September 2010. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA-BSM Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at: https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP. From the DIBBS homepage, select "RFP/IFBs" from the top of the page. Then choose the appropriate "Search Category" & "Search Value", then click "Submit" in order to view the RFP you wish to download.
