- FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY Project Description:The contractor will provide bridge design and construction plus trail rehabilitation and construction services to improve a section of the Rodeo Valley Trail located adjacent to Bunker Rd in the Marin Headlands, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Marin, CA. Contractor will design and construct two trail bridges and improve the Rodeo Valley Trail to an all-season trail for pedestrians, equestrians and bicyclists. Project work includes realigning the Rodeo Valley trail, restoring former trail alignments to natural conditions, reconstructing existing segments of the Rodeo Valley trail, design and construction of two bridge structures at two new locations, removal of two existing bridges, and regrading all impacted project areas in preparation for additional restoration and revegetation by others. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, and supervision to perform all work required to complete the project in accordance with the statement of work and provision of the contract. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. PARTICIPATION: The contract for this project is being SOLE-SOURCED to North Star Construction and Engineering, Inc., of Yuba City, CA under the Small Business Administration's 8(a) Program. Interested parties should contact North Star directly for subcontracting possibilities. It is the Government's intent to award a firm fixed price construction contract for this project. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) is 237310. The Small Business Size Standard for this procurement is Annual Receipts Less than $33.5M.
