Description
Amendment 1 The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services and mental health treatment services, within 10 miles of 12137 CR 46, Tyler, Texas 75704 and accessible to local public transportation. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period estimated to begin on October 1, 2010 with four (4) one-year option periods, with service ending (if all options years are renewed) on September 30, 2015. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. Base Year: Estimated number of inmates 60: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 60 inmates = 60 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 24 units (per inmate) x 60 Inmates = 1,440 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 60 Inmates = 4,320 sessions; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 15 Inmates = 180 sessions; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 5 inmates = 5 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 8 Inmates = 8 Reports; Mental Health Individual Counseling 24 units per inmate for 8 inmates = 192 units; Mental Health Group Counseling 12 units per inmate for 2 inmates = 24 units; Medication Monitoring 6 report per inmate for 5 inmates = 30 Monitorings. Option Year One: Estimated number of inmates 16: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 8 inmates = 8 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 24 units (per inmate) x 16 Inmates = 768 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 16 Inmates = 1,152 sessions; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 16 Inmates = 192 sessions; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 6 inmates = 6 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 4 Inmates = 4 Reports; Mental Health Individual Counseling 24 units per inmate for 9 inmates = 216 units; Mental Health Group Counseling 12 units per inmate for 3 inmates = 36 units; Medication Monitoring 6 report per inmate for 6 inmates = 36 Monitorings. Option Year Two: Estimated number of inmates 70: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 70 inmates = 70 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 24 units (per inmate) x 70 Inmates = 1,680 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 70 Inmates = 5,040 sessions; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 25 Inmates = 300 sessions; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 7 inmates = 7 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 12 Inmates = 12 Reports; Mental Health Individual Counseling 24 units per inmate for 12 inmates = 288 units; Mental Health Group Counseling 12 units per inmate for 4 inmates = 48 units; Medication Monitoring 6 report per inmate for 7 inmates = 42 Monitorings. Option Year Three: Estimated number of inmates 75: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 75 inmates = 75 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 24 units (per inmate) x 75 Inmates = 1,800 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 75 Inmates = 5,400 sessions; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 30 Inmates = 360 sessions; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 9 inmates = 9 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 15 Inmates = 15 Reports; Mental Health Individual Counseling 24 units per inmate for 15 inmates = 360 units; Mental Health Group Counseling 12 units per inmate for 5 inmates = 60 units; Medication Monitoring 6 report per inmate for 8 inmates = 48 Monitorings. Option Year Four: Estimated number of inmates 80: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 80 inmates = 80 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 24 units (per inmate) x 80 Inmates = 1,920 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 80 Inmates = 5,760 sessions; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 35 Inmates = 420 sessions; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 11 inmates = 11 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 17 Inmates = 17 Reports; Mental Health Individual Counseling 24 units per inmate for 17 inmates = 408 units; Mental Health Group Counseling 12 units per inmate for 6 inmates = 72 units; Medication Monitoring 6 report per inmate for 9 inmates = 54 Monitorings. The services shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated April 2010.
