- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Item/Services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.603 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. However, Request for Quote (RFQ) R10PS34230 will be issued simultaneously with this announcement to facilitate receipt of electronic quotes. The RFQ will be issued via www.fbo.gov. This RFQ is issued under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), and is 100% set-aside for small businesses; however, large businesses are encouraged to quote in the event that small businesses are rendered as non-compliant. The associated North American Industrial Code System code for this solicitation is 423490 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma, Area Office has a Commercial Item requirement for the purchase of an Ion Chromatograph Instrument System for laboratory use to include; an auto sampler, dual head gradient pump, conductivity detector, computer and method-specific software, columns, self-regenerating suppressor, optional eluent generator, operations and maintenance manuals and a full service maintenance agreement with three (3) performance periods. The RFQ contains the following: a description with quantities, and all applicable clauses and provisions in effect through FAC 2005-43. Quotes are due August 27, 2010 by 3:00 p.m. local time and may be submitted electronically or by fax.
