- This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-10-T-0286 http://www.navsea.navy.mil/nswc/crane/working/contracting is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. This solicitation is for 3,600 ea., Lead Holder Assy., to be mfr. IAW NAVSEA Dwg #7379639 Rev. B., Dwg #7379640 Rev B., Dwg #7379641 Rev. B., Dwg. #7379643 Rev. A. and Dwg. #7379662 Rev A. NOTE: In addition, anyone wishing to bid on this solicitation must have a Pre-Award Safety and Security Survey completed prior to award. NOTE: This is explosive, ammunition, hazard classification, DOT Class III, Category 1.4D. A certification of compliance shall be submitted with each shipment. This shall include a material certification and verification of all dimensions. Parts shall be inspected in accordance with MIL-STD-1916, Level III for majors and Level II for minors. NOTE: Contractors must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the solicitation attachments. Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the internet at www.ccr.gov. Information about the JCP is located at http://www.dlis.dla.mil. The solicitation attachments will be posted to FedBizOpps at the same time the solicitation is posted. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. Interested contractors must be registered in the Government ™s Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to access the attachments. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane website, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
