- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement to establish Multiple Award Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for High Voltage Cable Repairs for the NIST, Gaithersburg, MD Campus. NIST is posting the solicitation concurrently with this synopsis. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238210 with a small business size standard of $14.0M dollars. THIS WILL BE A 100% TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be utilized under the authority of FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The competitive Request for Quotation (RFQ), amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement shall be made available via the Internet at HTTP://WWW.FBO.GOV under RFQ number SB1341-10-RQ-0741. Potential offerors will be responsible for obtaining this solicitation and related Amendments, if any, from www.fbo.gov after the solicitation has been posted. It is, and will continue to be, the responsibility of each potential Offeror to monitor www.fbo.gov for any amendments or other information related to the solicitation. The Government will not be maintaining a mailing list. The Government intends to award Multiple Award Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity Contracts with a base year and three (3) option periods. The period of performance will be four (4) years from the date of contract award, if all options are exercised. A SITE VISIT will be conducted for this requirement. Details of the site visit shall be included in the RFQ Any communications regarding this acquisition must be made in writing and forwarded via email to carol.wood@nist.gov, and shall identify the solicitation number, company name, company address, as well as point of contact email address and phone number. Offerors shall be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov, in order to be eligible to receive a contract under this acquisition. NIST will not mail paper copies of the request for proposal or any affiliated documents. No telephone requests will be honored and NO BIDDERS LIST will be maintained. Potential offerors are required to direct all questions via email to robin.jeffries@nist.gov.
