- The Forest Service is requesting industry input on a draft solicitation for helicopter operations support trailers in support of fire suppression and all-hazard incidents. When finalized, a standard solicitation will be issued on a Local basis at the discretion of the geographic area. Comments must be provided via electronic mail to vrdpist@fs.fed.us no later than close of business September 20, 2010. Telephone inquiries/comments will not be accepted. This draft is being issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a formal solicitation for the receipt of offers. All information contained in the draft solicitation is preliminary, subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the government. The solicitation posted here is an abbreviated version of the draft solicitation.
