- SUBJECT: The Air Force Medical Operations Agency (AFMOA) is conducting market research for the maintenance/calibration service for Vaporizer, Anesthesia, Drawover, Ohmeda Part Number: 1101-9001-000, National Stock Number: 6515-01-355-6479. DISCLAIMER: This is not a request for proposals or a request for quotations; it is strictly a Request for Information (RFI) only. Neither, unsolicited proposals nor any other kinds of offers will be considered in response to this RFI. No contract will be awarded pursuant to this RFI. BACKGROUND: The United States Air Force has this equipment fielded as part of two separate War Reserve Materiel (WRM) projects. Since the equipment is part of our WRM program and is only used intermittently, the recommended maintenance interval is every two/three years. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS/SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS: Perform vaporizer service in accordance with the Ohmeda OEM manual to include: 1. Complete disassembly of components. 2. Thorough cleaning. 3. Inspection for damage and wear. 4. Renewal of wicks, seals, and damaged/worn components. 5. Lubrication where necessary. 6. Calibration which consists of checks of the delivered concentration under closely defined conditions at several different temperatures and regraduation or adjustment where necessary. 7. Package/Ship calibrated unit back to organization. Responses must be received by this office on or before 8:00 a.m. 08 Sep 10. This RFI is not a commercial solicitation. The Government will not pay or any information submitted, or for any costs associated with providing the information. Neither unsolicited proposals nor any other kind of offers will be considered in response to this RFI. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI marked as "proprietary" will be handled accordingly.
