- Description
- The purpose of this amendment is to change the trailer specification of a cargo load capacity from 4,000 pounds to 2,200 pounds. As per the attached solicitation FA5587-10-T-0081: This is a solicitation for quote for five (5) Tripod Jack Stand Trailers in accordance with the Requirement Specifications below as well as in the attached solicitation document. Tripod Jack Trailer Requirement Specifications: 1. Capabilities: a. Hydraulically lower the entire trailer flush to the ground b. Towable via collapsible/foldable solid towbar with lunette c. Platform surface area of minimum dimensions: 5'6" x 8'3" 2. Dimensions: (see figure 1 in the solicitation document) a. (Length of entire Unit)Max allowable including tow bar folded/retracted: 8'6" b. (Width of entire Unit) Max allowable including wheels: 6'9" c. Rail height: 15" d. Platform suface area: (Minimum) 6' x 8' e. Tow bar length: long enough to prevent "jack knifing" 3. Specifications: a. Trailer must be constructed of heavy duty/industrial strength materials b. Platform should be non-slip c. Cargo load capacity: 2,200 lbs d. Single axle construction w/ pneumatic tires (6"x9" preferable) e. Hydraulic system should be manually operated via a dual action hand pump and release valve f. Tires must be capable of holding trailer & cargo load capacity weight g. Platform designed to lower level to the ground with up to a 10 degree load angle h. 1 Standard "D" Tie down ring in each corner (4 total) i. Rails will be strong enough to retain equipment from rolling out (at 15 mph tow speeds) j. Unit must be able to tow up to at least 15 mph k. Tow bar must be equipped with a 2 ½" Lunette Eye (Pintle) hitch l. Rear gates with center locking pin (same height as rails) to secure equipment Quotes shall include a unit and total price for the following items: CLIN 0001 - Tripod Jack Stand Trailers (In accordance with the specifications), Quantity: 5, Unit of Issue: Each, Unit Price £__________, Total Price £_________. Prices shall be all inclusive (ie. all material, transportation, labour, etc.) All Quotes must also include the following information: 1. Company's complete mailing and remittance address. 2. Discounts from prompt payment if any. 3. CAGE code, Dunn & Bradstreet number (DUNS), and Taxpayer ID number (if previously obtained). 4. Quotes must be valid for a period of no less than 30 days. Quotes are due to this office no later than 2:00 p.m. GMT, 26 August 2010. Quotes may be faxed to 011-44-(0)1638-52-2268, or sent via e-mail to don.ballesteros@lakenheath.af.mil. AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS: In accordance with FAR 32.705-1(a) and FAR clause 52.232-18-Availability of Funds, the following is provided: Availability of Funds (Apr 1984) Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
