- Combined synopsis/solicitation has been amended to provide questions received from industry and provide responses from Government, no more questions are entertained and offer due date/local time will not be extended. QUESTION RECEIVED FROM INDUSTRY/RESPONSES FROM GOVERNMENT 1. Question: Will the supplier be required to supply fuel for the generators and will there be an emergency on call time frame? Answer: The Government will provide the fuel. Emergency call would only be if one of vendors generators goes down. 2. Question: Would you be able to provide any details regarding the expected usage of the generators. Typical single shift use is based on 8hrs use per day, double shift use would be 8-16hrs per day and triple shift would be up to 24hrs per day. Answer: Triple shift. Customer needs 24 hour usage. 3. Question: Do you know if any distribution boxes or cables will be required with the generators? Answer: Yes have them quote 4 distribution boxes are required. The Government will provide cables 4. Question: 60KW is not a standard output model for our line of generators. Is a 56KW model acceptable, with a rating of 70KVA generator? If not, can you please provide the brand of the current generators in use? Answer: The requirement is for 60KW Generator. The Government has used Magnum generators. 5. Question: Who will do maintenance to the generators after so many hours being used? Answer: The government.
