- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-44. It is the offeror's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The North American Industry Classification System code is 561990 - All Other Support Services and the size standard is 7.0 million dollars. Offeror's must include the company name, address, phone number, CAGE code and Duns number. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number is 081610TW. The 6th Contracting Squadron, MacDill AFB, Florida, requests support for a Defense Language Institute Language Training Hub. The facilities support includes office space, furniture, computer equipment, wireless internet access and Information Technology network system administration and support. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT The contractor shall provide a facility capable of supporting training classes up to 90 students, 18 instructors and 3 staff for the period of 20 Sep 10 through 19 Sep 11. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The contractor shall provide adequate facilities, infrastructure and support that includes the following: - Nine (9) training rooms suitable for the instruction of 6 students each - Three (3) offices for manager/staff - Instructor office space/cubicles to accommodate 18 instructors - Restrooms, break room - Suitable parking for up to 115 vehicles The contractor shall ensure all 9 training rooms include the following: - Instructor podium, whiteboard and overhead projector - Desks and chairs for each student - Unrestricted internet access to commercial wireless broadband The contractor shall provide office space for staff and instructors that includes the following: - Desks and chairs - Unrestricted internet access to commercial wireless broadband - 7 Telephones, 4 to support the instructors and 1 for each staff member (single line) - Three (3) networked printers (1 color, 2 black and white), 1 copier, and 1 fax machine The following utilities shall be included with the service: water, sewer, electric and garbage. The contractor shall provide Information Technology (IT) System Administrator support services.
