- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for SUPPLY AND INSTALLATIONOF 26 '44MM' EXTRUDED ALUMINUM ROLLING SHUTTERS. Electrical work provided by JohnsonSpace Center. Split units with two curtains and one motor with remote control required.All shutters shall be motorized with crank manual override and remote control. The priceshall include 3 five-channel in-wall wireless switches and 3 five-channel remotecontrols. Services shall include installation, delivery and trash disposal. Warranty andservice plan information shall be provided by vendor.
