This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;offers are being requested and a written solicitation shall not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for UV Spectrometer. MSFCis requesting that the UV Spectrometer be 'equal to' the attached salient specifications.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.However, any award from this RFQ shall require the potential vendor to be certifiedwithin the Online Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations andCertifications Application (ORCA) Databases prior to award. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to MSFC, Central Receiving, Bldg 4631, MSFC, AL.Delivery date TBD. Offers for the items described above are due by Wednesday, August 24, 2010 by 4:00 P.M.CST to Denece Norris(DFI) at denece.a.norris@nasa.gov or faxed to (256)544-6560 and mustinclude, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule,discount/payment terms, warranty duration, taxpayer identification number(TIN),identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorizedcompany representative. Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (JUNE 2008), Instructionsto Offerors-Commercial Items, which is incorporated by reference. If the end product offered is other than a domestic end product as defined in the clauseentitled 'Buy American Act -- Supplies,' the offeror shall so state and shall list thecountry of origin. FAR 52.212-4 (JUNE 2010), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is applicable.
