- RECOVERY --PROJECT NUMBER RM10-8279, ADVANCED METERING IMPLEMENTATION NAVAL STATION GREAT LAKES, IL. PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER: ADVANCED METERING INFRASTRUCTURE (AMI) MAC - N62583-08-D-0136 “ AMERICAN SYSTEMS - N62583-08-D-0137 “ SQUARE D COMPANY - N62583-08-D-0138 “ WESTON SOLUTIONS ADVANCED METERING IMPLEMENTATION This Pre-Solicitation Notice is to inform contractors of a project that involves installation of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) meters and supporting communications infrastructure for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Midwest (NAVFAC MW) at Naval Station Great Lakes, IL, including providing AMI workstations. The site work will involve connecting the regional DAS to the POP via fiber with a media converter using an RJ45 connection. All servers and workstations shall have hardware and software to allow remote administration including turn on, shut down, and restart. The system will communicate using PSNet. The workstations shall be able to configure the meters and obtain the meter data, including waveforms. The system shall respond within 5 seconds to an operator request at any workstation. A one megabyte data file containing the meter data or waveform shall be downloaded to the workstation within 5 seconds as the DAS is polling the meters and 2 workstations are being utilized. Work shall include implementation of the core AMI system and installation of the following utility meters: 217 electric meters, 70 water meters, and 68 gas meters. This action will be issued under the AMI IDIQ Multiple Award Contract held by Specialty Center Acquisition NAVFAC (SCAN).
