- Description
- The US Geological Survey is seeking conference facilities in the Tampa, Florida area for March 28 - April 1, 2011. These dates are firm. The 5-day conference is for approximately 450 participants and will require guest accommodations, meeting space, light AM and PM refreshments, audio visual equipment and complimentary shuttle to and from an airport. Facility must be within close proximity to an airport and close walking proximity to a variety of restaurants. Meeting space is preferred to be on one level. It is preferred to contract with a facility that can accommodate 450 single sleeping rooms and conference meeting space all in one venue, however, the USGS will consider alternate lodging space if a venue is unable to accomodate 450 sleeping room. Alternate lodging venue must be within a short walking distance to the conference venue. A request for quotation (RFQ) # 10HQQQ0155 is available for viewing on the Department of Interior's Business Opportunities Web Page at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The posted RFQ contains a description of the requirement and applicable clauses. Questions regarding this requirement must be submitted in writing to the CO at vfloyd@usgs.gov NLT 1pm EST on 08/24/2010. All vendors who can meet this requirement, have a valid Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), are registered in CCR (www.ccr.gov), and are a FEMA approved venue are invited to submit quotes for this posted RFQ to the CO at vfloyd@usgs.gov. NAICS code for this acquisition is 721110. Quotes are due to the CO at vfloyd@usgs.gov by 2pm EST, on 08/27/2010.
