Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes shall be submitted electronically to Hester.Stone @US.Army.mil and are due by Friday, 20 August 2010 at 3:00 p.m. MDT. This requirement is a firm-fixed price procurement. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-44. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 721120 with a size standard of $7,000,000.00. Please quote the following: CLIN 0001 Rooms for Advance Party: 10 Rooms each with King sized beds for 09 September 2010. Room amenities must include air conditioning/heating, bathrooms, television with cable/satellite, telephone, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, internet connection, alarm clock and room safe. CLIN 0002 Dinner for Advance Party: 10 meals each for 09 Sep 2010 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CLIN 0003 Rooms for 10-12 Sep 2010: Rental of 120 rooms split with 70 King and 50 Queen size beds. Room amenities must include air conditioning/heating, bathrooms, television with cable/satellite, telephone, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, internet connection, alarm clock and room safe. CLIN 0004 Buffet Style Breakfast for 170 adults from 10-12 Sep 2010 with service time from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. Suggested menu is choice of eggs any style, hash browns, bacon, sausage, warm bread rolls, toast, assortment of cereals, butter, orange juice, coffee (regular and decaffeinated), hot water, herbal teas, and milk. Brunch served on 12 Sep 2010 only from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. CLIN 0005 Lunch Buffet for 170 adults to include cold cuts menu served from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on 10-11 Sep 2010. CLIN 0006 Dinner Buffet for 170 adults from 10-11 Sept 2010 with service time from 6:00pm 7:00pm. The suggested menu is chicken, BBQ ribs, burgers, vegetable assortment, rice, fries, salad, fresh fruits, dinner rolls, iced tea, coffee (regular and decaf), hot water, herbal teas, and assorted sodas. CLIN 0007 AM SNACK-Buffet style snacks on 10-11 Sep 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for 170 adults. CLIN 0008 TRAINING ROOMS-Request five (5) breakout rooms for 10-11 Sep 2010 and each room shall have an LCD Projector with minimum 2500 Lumen, instruction/projector screen, laptop computers, tables and chairs set up to accommodate 20-40 people per room, and have climate control for heating/cooling. CLIN 0009 MEETING ROOM requested for 09-12 Sep 2010 to include podium, podium microphone, one (1) wireless microphone, house sound, two (2) 11-inch by 14-inch minimum rear projection screens, six (6) panels pipe and drape with an estimation of 10-linear feet, two (2) LCD projectors, call cabling, distribution amps, six (6) channel mixer, 12-inch by 16-inch riser, and additional lavaliere microphone. The meeting rooms shall have climate control for heating and cooling, requesting rectangular tables with chairs set-up to accommodate 4-6 people per table with a total for 170 people. Also requesting four (4) tables and chairs be set up near the meeting room door on 10 Sep 2010 for registration of attendees. This leadership conference will entail team building. The hotel must provide amenities for group outing activities that are accessible by a short walk or short shuttle drive (i.e. actitivies include bowling, golfing, hiking).
