- A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for August 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. (Details of this meeting will be included in the modification). All participants must RSVP by August 23, 2010 by contacting Malinda (Mindy) Horitski at 970-295-6683.This project includes the removal of an existing metal roof and underlying shake shingle layer, and the installation of a new cedar shingle roofing system. It will also re-establish the chimney mass above the roof line as an extension of the mass remaining in the attic. The allotted time for this contract is twenty-one (21) days from the date of issuance of the notice to proceed. All work shall be performed on the Dolores Ranger District of the San Juan National Forest, La Plata County, Colorado. This is a total HUBZone set aside. The anticipated date for issuance of the solicitation is on or around August 13, 2010. The due date will be identified on the solicitation. The solicitation will be available for free download at www.fbo.gov. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted, in writing, to Malinda (Mindy) Horitski at mrhoritski@fs.fed.us or via facsimile to 970-295-6699. All Offerors shall be registered to the Central Contractor's Registry (CCR) in accordance to FAR 52.204-7 to be considered responsive to this solicitation. All Offerors must be registered in ORCA in accordance to FAR 52.204-8 to be considered responsive to this solicitation. All Offerors must respond to all evaluation criteria in Section M of the solicitation to be considered responsive to this solicitation. Offerors to fail to meet these three criteria will not be considered in the Technical Evaluation of offers.
