- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for quotations (RFQ) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number W9115U-10-T-0011 is issued as a RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-43, effective August 02, 2010. In accordance with FAR Part 19.5this acquisition will be competed among small businesses. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 532490 with a size standard of $7 Million. The following is a contract line item number and quantities that meet the needs of the government: CLIN0001, Rental of 60KW Generators (Qty of 5). All 5 Generators need to be on wheels. The ATEC Mission Support Contract Activity (ATEC AMSCA) anticipates this procurement to be accomplished as set-aside 100% for small business. In accordance with FAR Part 19.5Set-Asides for Small Business this acquisition is open to all small businesses to compete. CLIN 0001 is the only equipment that meets the Governments need. Delivery is required by 23 August 2010 at 0900 AM MDT and Return of the equipment on 30 Sep 2010 at 1700 PM MDT. The period of performance is 23 Aug thru 30 Sep 2010. Delivery shall be made to Building 1660 JEB Stuart Road, Fort Bliss, TX 79916-6812. The contractor must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order receive an award. The CCR website address is http://www.ccr.gov. A quote is FOB, destination which shall include all fees, including shipping or freight costs. An estimated delivery schedule is also requested in the comments portion of the buy. Failure to comply with the above instructions or terms may result in the quote being determined as non-responsive. Offers are due by 15:00 PM CDT on August 19, 2010.
