Description
CHANGE DATE OF POSTING PROPOSALS TO ON-OR-ABOUT 12/31/2010 CHANGE CONTACT INFORMATION The Hoosier National Forest, Bedford, Indiana has a requirement for a forest wide Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) to perform cultural resource management services. Services include, but are not limited to, Phase I surveys, Phase II evaluations, Phase III mitigation and data recovery, and Other Cultural Resource Management services including National Register nominations, development of management and preservation plans, archaeological data entry, and public history and archaeology. Work shall be within the Brownstown and Tell City Ranger Districts of the Hoosier National Forest which are located in the following nine county area in southern Indiana: Brown, Crawford, Dubois, Jackson, Lawrence, Martin, Monroe, Orange, and Perry. The subsequent contract is intended to provide the U.S. Forest Service with technical services related to cultural resource activities on National Forest System (NFS) lands. These technical services will assist in compliance by the Hoosier National Forest with the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), as amended; its implementing regulations at 36 CFR 800; and the Archaeological Resources Protection Act (ARPA), as amended; among others. The contractor must provide evidence of familiarity with NHPA and ARPA, and comply with these Acts and the Forest Service's cultural resource management program. Firms must possess demonstrated familiarity with the archaeology and environment of Indiana. Period of performance includes a base period of one year and up to four one-year option periods.
