- The U.S. Property & Fiscal Office for Minnesota has a requirement for Portable Weapon Vaults. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: Vendor must provide an International Building Certificate (IBC) for meeting State and Federal occupancy laws. IBC Certification must be verified and approved by a third party prior to contract award acceptance. Storage units must conform to Unified Facilities Criteria, UFC-4-171-05, Mil handbook for weapons storage and DoD 5100.76-M, Chapter 3, C32.s and C3.2.2.1 regulations. In addition portable vaults must meet minimum criteria for GSA AA-V-2737 specifications. Purchase includes delivery and installation to meet turn-key operations. SPECIFICATIONS: PRE-ASSEMBLED VAULT: Min ext dimensions of 25 foot 6 inches x 11 foot 4 inches 10 feet 4 inches wide x 24 feet 2 inches deep x 8 feet 6 inches high (inside dimensions) 11 feet 4 inches wide x 25 feet 6 inches deep x 9 feet 6 inches high (outside dimensions) 201 square foot armory area certified GSA AA-V-2737 with a 60 square foot secure vestibule area UL 680 and GSA approved HVAC vent port panels 8 exterior lifting points for crane installation panel thickness: GSA AA-V-2737 panels @ 6 inches (sloped ceiling 5 inches to 6 inches for rain/snow loads) vault system weight (estimated): 95,000 lbs per each six-sided complete system GSA RATED VAULT DOOR: 40 inches x 78 inches clear opening (single leaf) door has 1 group 1 combination lock (S and G 8850) with an emergency escape mechanism standard daygate with weapon issue port included (dutch style and basic models are available) door weight 1,500 lbs. EXTERIOR DOOR: 3 feet 6 inches steel exterior security door with weather package US Military grade dead bolt and key lock included viewing window included, door weight 350 lbs. FINISHES: Weather-tight sealed unit with a 10-20 year life expectancy insulated building system with HVAC unit that controls heating/cooling and humidification exterior finished paint (allows for hose wash-downs) for long lasting finish FRP interior installed on all interior walls electrical finishes include: exterior and interior security lights with appropriate switches, interior electrical outlets, exterior photo control and interior electrical panel (labeled) interior light switches within vestibule and armory areas conduit entry locations for alarm (IDS), phone and electrical exterior plug-in attachment-once system is on site the unit can be plugged in and all electrical units will be powered SPECIAL NOTE: Delivered and Installed should be included in price Government will provide concrete slabs and establish power hook up for each vault The solicitation is being issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) W912LM-10-T-0064. This procurement is set-aside for Small Business. The NAICS Code is 332311 and the business size is 500 employees. The Government intends to evaluate based on product information data submitted with quote and make award based on best value to the Government. Quotes must be received NO LATER THAN Tuesday, 24 August 2010 at 5:00 pm.
