- This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION DOCUMENT OFFERED. QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation VA-246-10-RQ-0268 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR part 13.5. No telephone requests will be accepted. Only written requests received directly from the requester are acceptable. It is the Offeror ™s responsibility to ensure that the quote is received. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334220. REQUESTERS MUST STATE THEIR BUSINESS SIZE ON EACH REQUEST. This action is unrestricted. If offeror has a FSS/GSA contract, please include it on your offer. See below for a list of items required. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Asheville, NC has a requirement for portable radios capable of multi-band interoperability in one radio and which can operate in any 2 of the frequency bands: 700/800 MHz, VHF, UHF Range 1, and offers backward and forward compatibility (FDMA and TDMA). The radios must also have integrated GPS for outdoor location tracking. Brand name or equal requirement for the following item(s): Multi-Band Portable Radio EQUIPMENT (11 LINE ITEMS): 10 EA- Motorola APX Digital Portable Radios Commercial (H97TGD9PW1 N); 10 EA- Astro Digital CAI Operation (Q806); 10 EA- 7/800MHZ Primary Band (QA00569); 10 EA- UHF Range 1 Secondary Band (QA00575); 10 EA- NIMH IMPRESS 2000 MAH FM Delta (QA00581); 10 EA- Enable Dual Band Operation (QA00579); 10 EA- 2 YR Repair Service Advantage (Q58); 10 EA- Smartzone Operation (H38); 10 EA- 7/800 UHF (380-520) GPS Antenn (QA01372); 10 EA- P25 9600 Baud Trunking (Q361); 10 EA- 7000 Impres CG SU APX7000 US/NA (WPLN7080). If quote is submitted for brand other than specified above, you must include product literature with specifications. Submitted quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, and point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUN number. and business size. Delivery is to be made to the Fayetteville VA Medical Center, Fayetteville, North Carolina. Attention: You must be registered in CCR to be considered for award per FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration (April 2008) (b) (2) the offeror shall provide its DUNS, or if applicable, it's DUNS+4 number with its offer, which will be used by the contracting officer to verify that the offeror is registered in the CCR database.
