- Carrier Air Conditioning System Equipment Requirements The U. S. Census Bureau, National Processing Center (NPC), Jeffersonville, Indiana is issuing this notice as a combined synopsis/ solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 51-SO-BC-10-00103 is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-43 dated 2-July-2010. DESCRIPTION: CLIN0001: Carrier Air Conditioning System Equipment (new - not previously used other than testing at the manufacturer's facility) in the quantities indicated below: a. One (1) Each Carrier #50TC-D17A2G6-OAOAO Packaged Rooftop Electrical Cooling Unit, 460V., 3P., 60Hz. (for 63-D UPS Room). b. One (1) Each Carrier Model #50TC-D12A2G6-OAOAO Packaged Rooftop Electrical Cooling Unit, 10 tons nominal, 460V., 3P., 60Hz. (for 64-C UPS Room). c. Ten (10) Each Carrier Model # 4DRUAA12A2A6-OAOAO Air Handler, 2 # EA03XC376 R22 TXV's & 1 #EA07KC241 R22 Distributor, 10 tons nominal capacity. d. One (1) Each Carrier Model # 30RAP0505D-07100 Liquid Chiller w/2 - # 30RA-900---056 Wind Baffle, 208-230V., 3P., 60Hz., 50 Ton Nominal Cooling Capacity (for 64-B replacement). e. One (1) Each Carrier # 39MJ1640MJGF53-L-8 Indoor Air Handler 50 Ton w/chilled water cooling coil &and steam heating coil, 30 PSI operating Pressure, 100 PSI maximum pressure (for 64-B to replace leak in AHU). Safety: All equipment must meet or exceed minimum OSHA noise and safety requirements and EPA environmental requirements. Technical Documents: Provide all manuals required for installation, operation, and repair of the Carrier Air Conditioning System Equipment described above. Warranty: Minimum one year warranty covering all parts, labor and incidental expenses on the Carrier Air Conditioning System Equipment described above. The U. S. Census Bureau anticipates one award resulting from this notice. Delivery is FOB destination to: U. S. Census Bureau, Building 60F, 1621 Dutch Lane, Jeffersonville, IN 47132. Delivery not later than: 30-SEP-2010. Quotes are due by 2:00PM Eastern on Thursday, 02 September 2010. Prior to award, the apparent low offeror must be actively registered at CCR.gov and have on file or submit a Census vendor registration form.
